Reno, Reno, Renovation!

February 12, 2016

Many of you have been to our home on East Alameda, but today, the home you remembered is almost completely gutted and undergoing a major transformation. We’ve relocated the garage and removed unnecessary long hallways, and have had a great deal of fun laying out the story for the interiors.

Who doesn’t love before and after photos of homes? Well, we are taking it up a notch by video-blogging this exciting process. In this new video series, we will be walking you through the remodel and sharing everything from the major structural changes to our inspiration for the interiors.

We envision museum white walls, a light and airy palette for our floors, cabinetry that is contemporary, but with a nod to the past, chartreuse for the living room, and taking inspiration from a saffron Moroccan rug for the sitting room.

Being in the thick of remodeling has been remarkably beneficial for us. For anyone who has gone through, or is going through a home renovation…we feel your pain! Our treasured home is nothing like it used to be, and while scary at times, we attribute the positive experience of this process to the exceptional talent of Woods Design Build

We hope you enjoy these video clips (below)! For more videos, visit our YouTube channel.
